Requirement by requirement
Dubai Inclusive Education Policy Framework (2017), Revised Categorization Framework for Students of Determination (2019) and KHDA quality assurance visits, 2026–27.
| Requirement | What WizdoBee does | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 2026–27 visits focus on the academic progress of students of determination and on specialist support for complex needs. | Progress on each IEP goal is measured from the student's real classwork and homework, per student and per group. | In the demo |
| Schools get a maximum of 24 hours' notice before a visit. | An evidence pack per student and per inspection standard, plus a full activity log, is available on any day. | In the demo |
| Arabic teaching and learning is one of four 2026–27 focus areas. | Arabic tasks carry the same supports as other subjects, and family pages work in Arabic. | In the demo |
| Exam access arrangements must reflect the student's normal way of working. | Every accommodation a student uses is logged with dates, documenting their normal way of working. | In the demo |
| Students of determination are recorded under KHDA's 2019 categories. | Passport needs map to the KHDA categories, so the register matches what KHDA expects. | Planned for pilot |
| IEPs are reviewed with the team around the student, commonly three times a year. | Review dates, goal progress, and tutor and therapist notes are collected before each meeting. | In the demo |
ADEK School Inclusion Policy (v1.2, September 2024), admission rules in force from 2025–26 and the Abu Dhabi Disability Classification Guide (2020).
| Requirement | What WizdoBee does | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Private schools may not refuse admission to students of determination; a school that cannot accommodate a student must document it to ADEK within 7 days. | A Passport can be opened at admission, recording needs, adjustments tried, and the evidence behind each decision. | Planned for pilot |
| Support is graduated across Waves 1 to 3, with an IEP for students on Waves 2 and 3. | The register is organized by wave, and each student's supports and IEP goals are attached to every task. | In the demo |
| Schools give regular progress reports to parents of students with the highest needs. | A nightly summary and a weekly report, in English or Arabic, plus two-way messages. | In the demo |
| Gifted and talented students must be identified and given challenge. | "Ready for more" groups and stretch tasks the teacher approves. | In the demo |
| Needs are classified under the 2020 guide (11 categories, 28 sub-categories). | Passport needs map to the ADEK categories. | Planned for pilot |
| Records follow ADEK's Records Policy, and eSIS records modified curriculum. | Plans and records export in a format ready for eSIS entry. A direct connection is to be scoped with ADEK. | Planned for pilot |
Itqan school reviews on the UAE School Inspection Framework, Federal Law No. 29 of 2006, Ministerial Resolution No. 647 of 2020 and the SPEA Inclusive Education initiative (2024).
| Requirement | What WizdoBee does | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Itqan rates schools on six performance standards, including Protection, care, guidance, and support. | Evidence is filed under the same six standards automatically. | In the demo |
| Federal policy covers nine disability categories, plus gifted and talented students. | The Passport covers all of them, including gifted and talented. | In the demo |
| A 2026 study of Sharjah private schools found few local training options on special needs for teachers. | Supports are applied for teachers automatically, with a plain explanation of why each one helps. | In the demo |
| The same study found diagnostic assessments cost families AED 6,000 to 14,000. | Early concern flags from six weeks of work help the team decide who to refer first. WizdoBee never diagnoses. | In the demo |
| SPEA's initiative covers students of determination and gifted students in mainstream classrooms. | One platform for both: supports for students who need them and stretch for students ready for more. | In the demo |
Requirements are summarized from public sources as of November 2026. Schools should confirm details with KHDA, ADEK, or SPEA.
Evidence under the six UAE inspection standards
KHDA, ADEK, and SPEA all inspect against the UAE School Inspection Framework. WizdoBee files evidence under each standard as students work.

The pilot
We're recruiting UAE private schools for a pilot. An independent evaluator compares pilot classes with similar classes that don't use WizdoBee, over one school year, and the results will be published.
